Minimize Stress With A Stress-Hardy Lifestyle
At the core of our capacity to function
is our moment-to-moment and day-to-day ability to manage the pressures we
encounter. A stress hardy lifestyle enables us to do that effectively.
The Stress Management & Health Skills
Enhancement Program teaches the cognitive and behavioral skills needed for
a stress hardy lifestyle. Participants learn how the mind and body work as a
system, effective personal and interpersonal skills, and how to develop
enduring hardy habits.
Workshops are available as standalone
sessions or mini-courses that batch modules of instruction into a series of
weekly 90-minute classes. Mini-courses
include homework between sessions such as reading assignments and the daily
practice of methods learned in class. A mix of instruction, demonstration,
group discussion, and experiential exercises in each class maximizes individual
learning styles. Programs can be customized for any organization.

healthier manner.

and Managing Mental Stress Reactions - Learn the effects stress has on you
mentally, learn to recognize the relationship between mental stress and
physical reactions, and develop healthier coping skills.
Learning
about the Effect Our Thinking Has on How We Respond to Life - Identify why we
think the way we do, how our thoughts and perceptions determine our reactions
to problems/stress, and learn how to change our thinking to minimize unhealthy
emotional and physical symptoms.

the Truth about Moods and How to Manage Them - Begin to
understand the impact your moods have on you mentally and physically, and
develop skills to control them - instead of letting them control you.

the Important Role Relationships Play in Our Emotional And Physical Health - Learn the ways
